Food is great, I already know that. But by corona, I have to say. Very very friendly staff. You appear friendly and charismatic on the phone! No stressed or bored person on the end of the line. Really great! :)

The only uncomfortable thing is that the delivery was so fast that the cause-and-effect sequence and thus the time stream were violated, as the food was kind of here before we could end the call. The driver has probably also exceeded the maximum speed of light.

I loved the steak! Got it exactly as I wanted it! That Garlic souce is a killer! If they wanted to sell it I would take it home! Staff is very welcoming! Great place for food!

The food was very good. Fillet of beef with vegetables, at a very good price-performance ratio. A star deduction, as the cappuccino was way too hot and tasted bad.

The Kupferpfand'l has been one of the best gastroadresses in Amberg (and the surrounding area) for ages and since the renovation it's even more beautiful here. The cozy but modern design with lots of wood, velvet couches and stone walls creates the perfect atmosphere for special evenings - from romantic candlelight dinners to business lunches. If it has to be good, it goes to the copper. You don't treat yourself to anything else ?

Had a meal here today for the wedding anniversary. It was great. Fillet of beef with roasted onions - simply perfect? Plus the Kulmbacher Weizen, what more could you ask for?

Have been a guest today and what can I say, keep going. We have rarely felt in good hands. Everything was 100% right. Actually, 5 stars are not enough.

Dry food and long wait for a table, even with a reservation. Friends had called the night before for a large table, about 8 people or so. Ended up waiting 45 minutes past the reservation time to be seated. When the food came, we had already been in the restaurant for 1.5 hours. The food came out dry and unexciting. I won't be coming here for a third time.

Delicious food. Kind service. Beautiful atmosphere. We had to wait because it was full. It's better to telephone first. A bit expensive. I recommend it.

The best steak house in Amberg. It is usually packed, so having a reservation is nice. I got seated even without reservation after 10 minute wait. The staff is very frienly. There is no English menu but the waiter translates everything for you. The prices are a bit high but definitely worth it. Definitely recommend.

As a tourist id recommend you either look through the menu online or the photos (and screenshot , due to bad cell service inside the restaurant) and know what you want before you go inside. Our waitress was very kind and helpful, she helped us with the menu since we dont speak or read german. However if its busy i dont think that they would stand there and translate all the main courses. The menu has roughly about 6 pages, so if you can id strongly recommend to try to be somewhat prepared. Also id recommend ordering your steak about 1-2 cook levels up. I was at a dif restaurant and ordered "medium-well" steak, and received a "medium-raw" steak. So at this restaurant i ordered "well-done"steak and got about a "medium" steak. Which was great by the way, but just saying. I ordered : appetizer garlic breach and bruchetta. (The bruchetta is pretty much the garlic bread with tomatoes and cheese )the onion fillet steak with a baked potato w/sour cream,salad.for dessert the chocolate cake (comes with icecream, whipped cream and a sprinkle of pomegranite seeds) .everything was delicious! And service was great! To the restaurant id just recommend perhaps hiring a translator and have a few menus available online in a few languages(especially since its located in a shopping area) Most tourist/travelers tend to navigate to places the feel comfortable/easy ordering from.

Wonderful meal! Highly recommend this restaurant. Prices are a little up there but are well worth it! A few members of the staff speak English for those that do not speak very much Deutsch.

Fantastic German restaurant with delicious steaks. The meat is cooked to perfection, very soft, and they a big range of extras for it. Highly recommended.

very very nice services ... pulled pork burger (8,90 €) was super fast because ... I liked very much. beer garden also fits. I enjoyed the food at the table (curry, horseradish, majo and devil sauce). Highly Recommended

Heard great things about this spot. Ordered a regular 300g Rindersteak, medium. Came a little rarer than I expected, but it was among the best steaks I've ever had, and I've had a LOT of steaks. Almost ordered a second one. Service was friendly and the menu was varied. Appetizer was garlic bread and dessert was a chocolate cake, all excellent. My wife and I couldn't stop thinking about the amazing meal we had there. Go as soon as you can!

I just happened to visit this restaurant when I was in Nurnberg. The chef was a young and beautiful lady. However, she did exactly what I asked for, the foods were fabulous! It was the best T-bone I ever had in my life. I have told myself that I would defintely arrange a trip to Amberg again especially for this restaurant whenever and wherever I will be in Germnay.

Waited for an hour for them to tell us they had no more porterhouse steals very sad and not professional

Had the steak with berries and melted cheese. The steak was really tender and one of the best I ever had.
